Clineaus Grey sat as still as the stone gargoyle beside him, on top of the St. Timothy monastery in Oak Grove Montana. With his black trench coat moving slightly in the steady breeze and hands clasped behind his back he stood there and waited for the inevitable. The F.B.I raid that he knew was coming. The raid was coming for him because he had just placed an anonymous call in to tip them off to his location. He is not insane, nor is he turning himself in, he is just merely playing his game according to his rules. Clineaus waited because he knew like all games this one had to be played with multiple players, even if they weren't all willing. The reason the F.B.I was after him was because he, Clineaus Grey, had left a path as wide as Texas and as long as the Mississippi river of armed robberies and grand theft auto throughout the northwest. He was also after one particular agent. Agent Gabriel "Cody" Matthews. So, Clineaus Grey sat and waited for the inevitable, and soon realized that he would not have long to wait as the sound of sirens and crunching gravel reached his ears.
Special agent Gabriel Matthews drove his '07 silver, Ridge line towards the St. Timothy Monastery. Many thoughts were going through his head right now. One of which, strangely enough, was why people kept on calling him Cody. He had been called that ever since he was a little kid. He would ask people why and they would always say the same thing: "I guess it just fits you better." they would say, and even his own mother would agree with them! Getting snapped back into reality by the bumping and scraping of the gravel road he and his unit were driving over. Cody looked up just in time to swerve and miss the tree that covered half of the road. Then his mind returned to the real task at hand: Capture or even kill Clineaus Grey. Cody had been on his trail for three years now and this was the most solid lead he had ever gotten. Although, no one knew it was Clineaus himself who had made the tip off call in the first place. As the small fleet of vehicles thundered towards the Monastery, Cody could see the towers through the trees. Thinking that no doubt, Clineaus (if he was even in there) could hear the roar of the vehicles outside.
Clineaus Grey stood on the roof of the monastery and look out at the approaching vehicles. A faint hint of what you might call a smile tugged at the corners of his lips. He chuckled villainously and turned and went to wait for the "game" to begin.
Cody threw his truck into park and jumped out, taking defensive positions behind his bulletproof door. "Clineaus Grey!" he shouted through the megaphone. "Come out with your hands up!" that sounded a little cliche but That was the last thing Cody cared about right now. After saying that and getting no response he tried again this time the agents were greeted with a gravelly chuckle from none other than Clineaus himself.
"You think you and your two bit agents and your peashooters can stop me?!" Clineaus shouted from the second story balcony as he cradled a loaded m-16 in his right arm. His steely grey eyes taking in the scene before him "This is my game. It is played my way and no one can stop me!" Said Clineaus.
"What do you want?" Cody called back.
"You" said Clineaus
"Why me?"
"Because, you are the only one I have deemed worthy to play my game."
"Fine then." said Cody. "I 'll play your game. Just ell me what I need to do."
"Meet me in the graveyard out back of this monastery one week from now. Bring one friend and any two weapons for each of you. If you manage to win I'll think about ending my reign of terror. But if I win I will continue to do as I please and you will be able to do nothing about it!"
"Fine then." Said Cody. "How do I know if I win?"
"When one of us is dead you dope!." Clineaus retorted. "I'll see you in a week then."
Then, Before Cody could say anything more Clineaus Grey disappeared inside the monastery.
"After him!!! If he gets away this time there's no telling what he'll do!" Cody practically screamed the words and the SWAT team was moving before the echo faded.
